翻译方向性与中国文化对外翻译的研究面向

Directionality in Translation and Future Development of Chinese Outward Translation Practice

对外翻译作为促进不同文明与文化体系之间交流与对话的策略与方法,越来越多地受到世界各主要国家的关注与重视,但其与对内翻译的差异尚未引起译学界足够的关注,这一现状较易淡化与模糊对外翻译实践的独特性,不利于其可持续发展。本文在剖析翻译方向性概念与实践内涵的基础上,基于中国文化对外翻译实践的历史现实,思考理论基础、立场与价值观以及策略方法等研究面向所展现的特征与问题,进而从多学科融合下的对外翻译理论研究、双重需求驱动的对外翻译实践模式、基于受众的翻译效果研究以及技术赋能下的多模态多媒介翻译研究等维度为对外翻译研究的未来发展提供研究思路。

The outward translation practice,deployed as a means for promoting dialogue and communication among civilizations and cultural systems,is increasingly being valued by major countries around the world,but its differences from the inward translation have not received sufficient attention from translation academics.This situation tends to dilute and obscure the uniqueness of outward translation practice,which is not conducive to its long-term sustainable development.Based on the analysis of the concept and practical characteristics of directionality in translation,the paper explores the theoretical basis,stance and values as well as strategies or methods of outward translation practice of Chinese culture,and provides reference for the future development of outward translation research from the dimensions of the construction of a multidisciplinary theoretical system,the dual demand-driven outward translation practice model,audience-oriented reception studies and technology-empowered multimodaliy and multimedia translation studies.
