简述妈祖作为海上保护神,在明清官方与民间涉海活动中得到普遍的推崇与信仰;认为晚清时期福建船政、福建海军与北洋海军也崇拜妈祖,并形成一整套祭拜礼仪,这种信仰格局是由福建船政局奠定,波及北洋海军,发挥着精神慰藉与道德教化等多重功能。

As a protective goddess of the sea,Mazu was widely respected and believed in official and folk activities in the Ming and Qing dynasties.It is believed that Fujian Shipping Administration,Fujian navy and the Beiyang Fleet also worshiped Mazu in the late Qing Dynasty and formed a whole set of worship rites.This belief pattern,which played multiple functions such as spiritual consolation and moral education,was established by Fujian Shipping Administration and affected the Beiyang Fleet.
