In the new era,our living environment has brought some serious challenges.Artists have reselected materials and re considered language research.The research on the application of waste materials in ecological sculpture is also a mission and responsibility of our sculpture field.This paper starts from the definition of the concept of ecological sculpture and the origin of the application of waste materials,and specifically analyzes some characteristics of waste materials in ecological sculpture,such as environmental protection,interaction and entertainment.The application of waste materials in ecological sculpture conforms to the laws of contemporary art development.
