《孙子兵法》是一部对统帅和将军两类对象而言的军事著作,分别关于战略思想和战术原则。十三篇都围绕着“利”而展开,从现代的视角看,是一种基于经验性认识的功利理性主义。其与《论语》一起开启了战国诸子思潮,功利理性的精神与《论语》提供的道德信仰共同构成了中华民族的文化基质。
The Art of War is a military work for two categories of people—commanders and generals—about strategic thoughts and tactical principles.The thirteen chapters are based on“advantageous”."benefits".From a modern perspective,it is a utilitarian rationalism based on empirical understanding.Together with The Analects of Confucius,it started the surge of thoughts of diversified schools of the Warring States Period.Its spirit of utilitarian and rationality,and the moral belief provided by The Analects of Confucius together constitute the cultural matrix of the Chinese nation.
