英语窄式阅读与单词能力研究最新发展趋势

English Narrow Reading & Vocabulary Skills Abroad: Development Trend

摘要 对WoS核心合集所收录的2012—2021年间关于英语窄式阅读与单词能力主题的研究进行梳理和述评,发现该主题下的研究呈现出阅读材料多样化、单词能力多维化、研究变量和研究对象多元化,以及研究方法科学规范化、研究工具跨学科化的发展趋势。未来研究应明确窄式阅读定义与单词能力衡量标准,丰富研究方法以及关注低水平英语学习者。 Research related to English narrow reading & vocabulary ability from 2012 to 2021 retrieved from Web of Science core collection were reviewed & analyzed. Findings indicate that research on this topic has shown a trend of adopting more diversified reading materials & multidimensional word ability measurements, more diversified research variables & multivariate objects as well as employing more scientific research methods & cross-disciplinary research tools. Future research should work on a clearer definition of “narrow reading”, more standard word ability measurements & more diversified research methods;more attention should be given to low level English learners.
