从科学基金角度剖析广东人工智能产业发展现状

摘要 人工智能是国家支持的重要发展方向。广东省作为全球制造业中的重要组成部分,需紧跟人工智能发展方向,以利于以珠三角电子产业为代表的制造业的转型升级。科学基金是支撑人工智能基础与应用研究的重要力量,与该领域的产业升级息息相关。本文通过统计广东省基础与应用基础研究基金在人工智能领域的资助情况,进一步分析了该基金对人工智能知识产权和人才培养的促进作用。结果表明广东省基础与应用基础基金为人工智能领域发展提供有力的支持,与一批人工智能相关龙头企业加速成长有密切的关系。与此同时,广东省人工智能技术与产业发展目前正处于十字路口,在追赶国际前沿的同时,也在与国内以北京上海为代表的产业聚集城市进行竞争。广东省政府应继续加大对基础与应用基础研究基金等一系列研究基金的投入与支出,并根据省内人工智能发展的实时状况及时调整相应人工智能领域的资助方向,持续地为这一领域的发展提供强劲的推动力。 Artificial intelligence is a crucial direction supported by China.As an important part in the global manufacturing industry,Guangdong Province needs to closely follow the development direction of artificial intelligence,in order to facilitate the upgrading of the electronics industry in the Pearl River Delta.The research foundation is an important force to support the basic and applied research on artificial intelligence.This paper investigates the promotion effect on artificial intelligence by Guangdong Basic and Applied Basic Research Foundation.The results show that this foundation strongly supports the development of artificial intelligence in Guangdong province,as well as promotes the accelerated growth of the leading artificial intelligence-related enterprises.The artificial intelligence technology and industrial development in Guangdong province are currently at a crossroad.It is competing with domestic cities such as Beijing and Shanghai while catching up with the international frontier.The Guangdong provincial government should increase investment and expenditure in the research foundation represented by Guangdong Basic and Applied Basic Research Foundation,and continuously provides the strong support to promote artificial intelligence.
