高效高带宽利用率的太赫兹无线网络定向MAC协议

摘要 现有太赫兹无线定向网络中,随着网络规模的扩大,用于节点接入网络的Beacon帧长度不断变长,导致过多的控制开销;同时,由于定向天线的使用,中心控制节点需要在全方向各个扇区发送多个Beacon帧,随着扇区数目的增加,Beacon时段的长度和在整个超帧中的占比也会随着增加,由于超帧的长度是固定的,Beacon时段过长的时隙占用会导致更少的时隙用于传输数据,浪费信道资源.针对上述问题,本文提出一种高效高带宽利用率的太赫兹无线网络定向MAC协议—HEBU-MAC.本协议采用基于常短帧精简Beacon帧机制减少了Beacon帧的长度,采用基于常短时隙压缩基本时隙机制压缩基本时隙的长度,减少了Beacon时段的时隙占用,从而极大地降低了控制开销,提高了信道利用率. In the existing terahertz wireless directional network, with the expansion of network scale, the Beacon frame length used for node access network keeps getting longer, resulting in too much control overhead.At the same time, due to the use of directional antenna, the central control node needs to send multiple Beacon frames in all sectors.With the increase of the number of sectors, the length of Beacon period and its proportion in the whole superframe will also increase.Since the length of superframe is fixed, The excessively long time slot occupation of Beacon period will result in less time slot used for data transmission and waste of channel resources.To solve the above problems, this paper proposes a High Efficiency and high Bandwidth Utilization Terahertz wireless network directional MAC protocol—HEBU-MAC.In this protocol, the length of Beacon frame is reduced by using the mechanism of reducing Beacon frame based on constant short frame, and the length of basic time slot is reduced by using the mechanism of compressing basic time slot based on constant short time slot, so as to reduce the time slot occupation of Beacon period, thus greatly reducing the control cost and improving the channel utilization rate.
