同为所有格,细究意有别

英语名词的所有格表示所属关系,它有-′s所有格(如Sally′s pencil)、of所有格(如the name of the movie)以及两者同时使用的双重所有格(如many books of her teacher′s)等三种形式。-′s所有格有时可以与of所有格互换,很多时候两者意思并无不同。如Mr Smith′s son=the son of Mr Smith史密斯先生的儿子,the Queen′s arrival=the arrival of the Queen女王的到来等。
