论越剧历史剧《则天皇帝》的优点与不足

On the Successful Experience and Shortcomings of the Historical Play of Yue Opera the Empress Wu Zetian

越剧《则天皇帝》采用真实的历史事件构建故事情节,并参考历史上人们对武则天的评价,考察她的政治举措的实际效果和站在今日的历史高度与运用历史唯物主义的方法对武则天的行为动机进行分析,成功地塑造出了武则天的艺术形象。该剧能给今日历史剧创作提供的经验:一是以辩证的历史唯物主义态度对人物进行真实的描写;二是将历史事件高度故事化、历史人物世俗化。以历史剧的标准来衡量,该剧有两点不足:一是时间跨度太长,情节不够集中;二是在一些场景中,没有将历史人物放在特定的历史环境中去描写。总的来看,该剧有着成为经典剧目的基础,越剧界应该花大力气进行修改,让它重新呈现在舞台上。

Yue Opera the Empress Wu Zetian applies real historical events to construct the plot,and refers to people’s evaluation of Wu Zetian in history,examines the actual effect of her political measures and analyzes her behavior motivation in today’s historical height with the method of historical materialism,thus successfully shaping the artistic image of Wu Zetian.The experience that this work can provide for the creation of today’s historical play is as follows:first,it is the real description of the characters with the dialectical attitude of historical materialism;secondly,historical events are highly storied and historical figures are secularized.By the standards of historical plays,it has two shortcomings:first,the time span is too long and the plot is not focused enough;secondly,in some scenes,historical figures are not described in a specific historical environment.In general,the play has the foundation to become a classic,and the Yue Opera community should make a great effort to revise it and bring it back to the stage.
