Xiao Erhei's Marriage was the second rrflestone in the history of new Chinese opera after The White-Haired Girl.Xiao Erhei's Marriage premiered at the Beijing Xiaojingchang Experimental Theater or December 181952,immediately becoming a popular sensation.Seven decades later,this work is celebrated as a timeless classic.We must continue to learn,research,sustain,and develop the genre of national opera as we commemorate this special anniversary.
