线条美学:跨文化语境的会通——“国际视野的东方美学研究”系列论文之一

The Aesthetics of Lines:Communication in the Intercultural Context——One of the Series Articles “On Oriental Aesthetics from an International Perspective”

在人类社会和世界诸文明中,线条具有跨文化的普世价值,是人类学、哲学和美学研究的重要对象。西方线条观在艺术史上经历了从欧几里得几何到非欧几何的转向,在近现代逐渐与东方线条美学交叠互渗。以西方线条哲学为参照,有助于当代东亚线条美学的建构,中国语言文化的“Wen”(文/纹)和“Li”(理/礼),日本美学的“Ma”(间)和“Kire”(切)等重要话语堪为佳例。由此中日书画的线条美学呈现丰赡的新意。线条美学作为前沿发展的论域,可从“穹若”与哲理的维度予以拓展与前瞻。当代线条美学形成了跨文化语境的情势,亟待加强比较与会通研究,以丰富世界美学的当代形态。

In human society and all civilizations,lines have the general and world-wide value in the intercultural context,and are an important object of anthropology,philosophy,and aesthetics research. In the history of art,the Western view of lines has experienced a transition from Euclidean geometry to non-Euclidean geometry, and gradually overlapped and permeated with Eastern aesthetics of lines in modern times. Taking the Western philosophy of lines as reference is helpful to the construction of contemporary East Asian aesthetics of lines. The important discourses such as“Wen”and“Li”in Chinese language and culture,and“Ma”and“Kire”in Japanese aesthetics are both good examples. Thereof the aesthetics of lines within calligraphy and painting in China and Japan both present abundant new meanings. As the domain of frontier development,the aesthetics of lines can be expanded and prospected from the dimensions of“kh?ra”and philosophy. The contemporary aesthetics of lines has formed a situation of intercultural context,and it is urgent to strengthen the research about comparison and communication to enrich the contemporary morphology of world aesthetics.
