What causes moles?Most moles are caused by melanocytes clustering in clumps.Are there different kinds of moles?There are four types of moles:junction-al,intradermal,compound and blue.1)Junctional moles are at the junction of the epidermis and the dermis.They commonly occur on the palms,lips and outside the genitals.Their surface is flat or slightly raised.They can be light brown,dark brown or black-blue.This kind of mole can be can-cerous and lead to melanoma.
