Anewbie in Xingsheng Hui,Nan’s Kitchen is one of the few Cantonese restaurants brave enough to open up on the expat-dense Xingsheng Lu.The wooden tanglong(趟栊)entrance with its evenly spaced rungs,the pierced screen,the Yue Opera costumes,the grey floor tiles,bowls and plates deco-rated with traditional Yue Opera figures and the red,blue and green glasses-everything in Nan's Kitchen emits a heavy Lingnan flavor.
