Critics are not always kind to Patricia Kopatchinskaja.Her furious interpretations of hallowed classical pieces,coupled with her penchant for controversial cadenzas,have led some journalists to dub her a disrespectful,hysterical egoist.These few;however;are increasingly outweighed by those who find her passionate performances absolutely riveting.
