高校图书馆建立面向社会的情报服务中心探索

文献数据电子化大背景下,高校图书馆的价值提升受到威胁,需要提供新型的服务来提升图书馆价值。文章研究表明,高校图书馆有条件面向社会提供情报服务,在文献资源、人力资源、学术资源等方面均具有较大的优势,同时,还能因此发挥“智库平台”、技术转化中介的作用,为学校品牌提升提供助力。高校图书馆应建立面向社会的情报服务中心,并将其定位为与本校学科特色相适应的、具有特色的、小而美的情报服务中心,成为以提高自身社会价值、以建设高校图书馆业务能力为目的、强调专利情报服务能力的、具有公益属性的社会服务机构。

Under the background of literature data electronization, the value promotion of university library is threatened, and it needs to provide new services to enhance the value of library. University libraries have the conditions to provide information services to the society. They have great advantages in literature resources, human resources, academic resources and so on. At the same time, they can also play the role of “think tank platform” and technology transformation intermediary to provide assistance for the promotion of the university brand. The university library should establish an information service center facing the society, and position it as a small and beautiful information service center with characteristics corresponding to the discipline characteristics of the University. It is a social service organization with public welfare attribute, with the purpose of improving its own social value and building the professional ability of the university library, and emphasizing the patent information service ability.
