YI Wei’s Clinical Experience of Treating Endometriosis with Acupuncturemoxibustion Therapy Based on Theory of Untying Knot

总结易玮教授基于解结思想针灸治疗子宫内膜异位症的临床经验。易玮教授认为“解结”是一种整体辨证与局部诊察相结合,四诊合参的基础上,针对“结”而提出的治疗原则,也是一种具体的治疗方法;子宫内膜异位症的发生与结的形成有关,因六淫、七情或外伤侵袭人体,气机阻滞脏腑经络,凝结不散,各致病因素常互相并结,停聚胞宫脉络,日月相积,逐渐成“结”;提出从火热温通和破散决血两方面攻邪散结,可采用火针、艾灸、温针灸、刺络拔罐等形式,同时注重调神治气,固本培元,标本兼顾。

This article summarizes Professor YI Wei’s clinical experience in treating endometriosis with acupuncture and moxibustion based on the idea of untying knot. Professor YI Wei believes that“untying knot”is a combination of holistic diagnosis and local diagnosis based on the four diagnoses, and is a specific treatment method that addresses the“knot”. The occurrence of endometriosis is related to the formation of knot,the causes of which involve the six external factors which cause diseases,and the seven human emotions or trauma invade the human body, the qi movement obstructing the zang-fu organs and meridians and viscera, accumulation of stagnant-stasis. All those causative factors are often interweaved with each other,gathering at veins of the uterus,and the accumulation of days and months gradually forms“knot”. Professor YI Wei proposes that expelling the pathogen to dissipate mass should start from two aspects:fire-heat and warmth and circulation,and breaking blood to expelling stasis,treating with methods such as fire acupuncture,moxibustion,warm acupuncture and blood-letting puncture and cupping therapy. Meanwhile, the treatment should focuse on regulating mind to promote qi,cultivating the vital essence,and treating symptom and root cause simultaneously.
