中国文学如何“走出去”——以《三体》在德国的译介为例

The Approach for the Chinese Literature to“Go Overseas”:A Case Study of the Translation and Introduction of The Three-Body Problem in Germany

自刘慈欣凭借《三体》摘得“雨果奖”以来,《三体》在德国也掀起了一股中国科幻热潮,不仅数次登上畅销书榜,还被授予了德国本土科幻文学大奖。通过观察《三体》在德国的译介传播情况,发现契合目标读者的文化心理以及译者在翻译过程中对“文化专有项”的跨文化呈现这两点是文学作品获得海外读者青睐的主要原因。从海外读者的解读偏好来观照文学作品的译介模式和翻译策略,为中国文学“走出去”提供某些借鉴。

Since Liu Cixin won the “Hugo Prize” for The Three-Body Problem, the novel has also set off a boom of Chinese science fiction in Germany, not only topping the best-selling book list for several times, but also being awarded the local sci-fi literature prize in Germany. By studying the case of translating and disseminating The Three-Body Problem in Germany, it is found that the cultural psychology of the target readers and the translator’s cross-cultural presentation of the “exclusive cultural elements” in the translation process are the main reasons why literary works can be favored by overseas readers. This paper tries to study the translation mode and translation strategy of literary works from the perspective of overseas readers’ interpretation preferences, and provide reference for the Chinese literature to “go overseas”.
