缘何中国豆油价格和大豆进口依存度同步高企?——来自部分所有权式经营者集中视角的解释

Reasons for China's Soybean Oil Price and Soybean Import Dependence Rising Simultaneously?——Explanation from Perspective of Partial Ownership Concentration of Undertakings

近年来,中国出现豆油价格和大豆进口依存度同步高企的现象。从中国大豆加工企业间部分所有权对市场竞争产生影响的角度对该现象作出解释。基于修正后的赫芬达尔——赫希曼指数(MHHI),测算了存在交叉持股、共同持股等部分所有权情况下中国大豆加工市场的集中度,通过构建自回归分布滞后(ARDL)模型,实证研究了中国大豆加工市场集中度对豆油价格和大豆进口依存度的影响。研究发现,中国大豆加工市场集中度在长期与短期均对豆油价格与大豆进口依存度有显著正向影响,且长期影响均大于短期影响。因此,提出相关机构应高度关注大豆加工企业等部分所有权式经营者集中对市场竞争、相关企业行为和消费者福利的影响,并实施必要的干预。

In recent years,China's soybean oil prices and soybean import dependence are rising simultaneously.This phenomenon is explained from the perspective of the influence of partial ownership among soybean processing enterprises on market competition in China.Based on the MHHI(Modified Herfindahl-Hirschman Index),the concentration of China's soybean processing market under partial ownership such as cross shareholding and joint ownership was calculated.By constructing an ARDL(Autoregressive Distributed Lag)model,the effect of soybean processing market concentration on soybean oil prices and soybean import dependence in China were empirically studied.The results showed that the concentration of soybean processing market in China had a significant positive impact on soybean oil prices and soybean import dependence in the long and short term,and the long-term impact was greater than that of the short-term impact.Finally,it was suggested that relevant institutions should pay close attention to the impact of partial ownership concentration on market competition,related enterprise behavior and consumer welfare,and implement necessary intervention.
