秦思源的“中国声音”之旅

虽说“五十知天命”,秦思源却还在为未知的明天焦虑、忙碌。这个长着外国人面孔、讲着一口京腔的中英混血儿,曾为北京史家胡同博物馆筹备了一间6平米的声音展室。近十年过去,收集的声音多了,工作地点转到了宋庄6000平米的声音艺术博物馆,操心的事也随之翻了番。秦思源的“中国声音”之旅,正待开启新的一程。

Sound artist Colin Chinnery has been collecting sounds from across China for the past 10 years.Speaking with a Beijing dialect,he has moved his sound museum to a new location of 6,000 square meters in Songzhuang Town,east of the capital.Chinese philosopher Confucius said,"At 50,I knew the decrees of Heaven."But Chinnery,in his fifties,is still busy and anxious about the unknown tomorrow.The new sound art museum,opened in the fall of last year,is where Chinnery has started his new journey of recording Chinese sounds.
