Osteosarcoma of extremities is a common primary bone tumor,which has the characteristics of high invasion,easy early metastasis,high disability rate and poor prognosis.The precise treatment of osteosarcoma is challenging to some extent.Neoadjuvant chemotherapy can eliminate the primary and metastatic lesions,reduce the tumor volume and the surrounding inflammatory edema reaction area as much as possible.And neoadjuvant chemotherapy combined with surgical resection has become a standard and effective treatment scheme for osteosarcoma.With the rapid development of emerging medical technologies,digital medical technologies such as 3D printing technology and computer navigation system provide visualization tools for precise surgical resection by using personalized medical image data and constructing a three-dimensional model structure,which further enriches the limb salvage treatment scheme for osteosarcoma.
