How to determine the fire separation distance of buildings in a petrochemical plant?Should it be based on the Code for Fire Protection Design of Buildings or the Standard for Fire Prevention Design of Petrochemical Enterprises?Under what circumstances can the standard be used reasonably and conveniently?Through comparative analysis on the current standards and the deliberation on fire separation distance of buildings,this paper proposes how to adopt the standards in general plan design and offers some suggestions for future revision of standards.
