摘要
创成式设计不但是一个具有“无穷”迭代属性的设计过程,亦是一种能够快速探索设计“无限”可能性的方法。相较于传统的设计样态与范式,强调逻辑过程与迭代效应的产品创成式设计,无疑更符合现代制造业及相关产业发展现状的客观需求,也更契合当下及未来一定时期人们生存与生活的现实与前瞻性需要,其工作机理、形式表征、创新达成及思维方式等方面存在着诸多区别于传统设计的属性特质。值得关注的是,算法驱动的设计通常只是基于现有的模式和规则,创成式设计并未动摇或更改设计的基本属性和根本任务。若将创成式设计认知为一种基于计算机技术应用的设计理论与方法,那么这种全新的产品设计样态与范式则可解读为一项“技术性”的设计方法变更。
The generative design is not only a process of design process with "infinite" iterative property, but also a fast method to explore the "infinite" possibility of design. Compared with the traditional design patterns and paradigms,Generative Design that emphasizes the logical process and iterative effect is undoubtedly more in line with the needs of the current development of modern manufacturing and related industries, and also more in line with the current and prospective needs of people’s survival and life in a certain period of time in the future. Its working mechanism, formal representation, innovation achievement and thinking mode have many attributes and characteristics that are different from those of the traditional design. It is noteworthy that the algorithmic design is usually based on existing patterns and rules and that the generative design does not shake or change the basic attributes and fundamental tasks of design. If the generative design is recognized as a design theory and an approach based on the application of computer technology, then this new product design pattern and paradigm can be interpreted as a "technological" change in design approach.
