Status and Prospect of Lithium-ion Battery Separator

隔膜是锂离子电池关键组件之一。近年来,随着全球范围内新能源汽车的高速增长以及储能市场的快速兴起,锂离子电池需求迎来爆发性增长,相应地隔膜的需求量也迅速扩大。该文立足于下游应用领域,梳理并分析了锂离子电池隔膜行业现状以及未来发展趋势。2021—2030年之间将是我国锂离子电池隔膜行业发展的高速发展期。建议相关企业利用好隔膜发展窗口期,尽早实现隔膜完全自主化生产,同时加速关键原料的研发和改进,促进隔膜产业链上下游协同发展。

The separator is one of the key components of lithium-ion battery. In recent years, with the rapid growth of new energy vehicles and the energy storage market, the lithium-ion battery industry will usher in faster development and the demand for the separator will also expand rapidly. Based on the downstream application, this paper estimates the current and future development of the separator industry. It is predicted that with the increase of the penetration rate of new energy vehicles in the future, the demand for separator will exhibit a big growth in the next 10 years. It is suggested that relevant enterprises should take the chance to improve the R&D process of key raw materials and promote the collaborative development of upstream and downstream of the industry chain.
