Correlation study of Amylin and Preptin with polycystic ovary syndrome

目的比较PCOS患者与对照组的Amylin和Preptin水平,探讨其与多囊卵巢综合征(PCOS)的相关性,为PCOS的早期诊断和防治提供新的策略和实验依据。方法选取PCOS患者和同期就诊的非PCOS对照组各40名作为研究对象。所有研究对象测定性腺激素六项、血生化指标、Amylin和Preptin水平。比较两组间及根据BMI分组后亚组间上述指标的差异。结果PCOS组的体质量、WC、LH、FINS、HOMA-IR、TG和Amylin均高于对照组,有统计学差异(P<0.05)。且PCOS胖组的血清FINS、HOMA-IR水平明显高于PCOS正常体质量组,差异具有统计学意义(P<0.01)。PCOS组的血清Preptin水平虽高于对照组,但差异无统计学意义(P>0.05);相关性分析显示血清Amylin水平与FBG、FINS、HOMA-IR之间呈显著正相关,Preptin水平与FBG、HOMA-IR、TG之间呈正相关。结论Amylin和Preptin均与IR相关,而Amylin可能与PCOS的发病机制相关。

Objective To compare the levels of Amylin and Preptin between polycystic ovary syndrome patients and the control group,and to explore the correlation between Amylin and Preptin level and PCOS,so as to provide new research direction for the early diagnosis and treatment of PCOS.Methods 40 PCOS patients and 40 control subjects in the same period were selected as research objects.Six gonadal hormones,blood biochemical indexes,Amylin and Preptin levels were checked in all subjects.To compare the differences of the above indexes between the two groups and the differences among the subgroups divided according to BMI.Results The body weight,WC,LH,FINS,HOMA-IR,TG and Amylin of the PCOS group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).We divided PCOS into two subgroups based on BMI,such as obese PCOS group and normal PCOS group.Between them,the serum FINS and HOMA-IR levels in obese PCOS group were significantly higher(P<0.01).The level of serum Preptin in PCOS group was higher than that in control group,though there was no statistical significance(P>0.05).The results of correlation analysis showed there were significant positive correlations between the level of serum Amylin and FBG,FINS,HOMA-IR.Besides,Preptin level was positively correlated with FBG,HOMA-IR and TG.Conclusion Both Amylin and Preptin are associated with IR,while Amylin may be related to the pathogenesis of PCOS.
