CITY SNAPSHOT Fade to Black American expat Yoel Taomas is an English teacher who has been living in China for six months.The photo we've chosen to feature this month was captured by Taomas in Guangzhoifs vanishing Xiancun area,which is located between Tiyu Xilu,Shipaiqiao and Liede.Taomas says:"[The urban village,Xiancun]has fascinated the urbanist in me since my first visit to Guangzhou."
