Cultural Logic of Chinese Sports Modernization

在中国式现代化发展进程中,中国体育以五大文化逻辑——基于去“病夫”的逻辑起点,在增强人民体质的使命履行中,形成甩掉“东亚病夫”帽子的现代化;基于“一切为了人民、一切依靠人民”理念,在以人民为中心的重大政策制定与公共体育设施建设中,形成人民共建共享的现代化;基于中国历史与中国社会主义现代化伟大实践形成的举国体制,在实现快速赶超发展、提供“中国创造”的实践中,成就创造竞技体育奇迹的现代化;基于中国历史与国情,在普及与提高相结合的发展道路、友谊与比赛相结合的发展理念与体育文化新形态的中国方案中,走出“并联式”发展的现代化;基于文化的民族性,在为国争光、为民族争气的责任担当中,形成讲述中国故事的现代化——书写了中国式体育现代化建设体育强国的文化篇章。

During the development of Chinese modernization,Chinese sports has written a cultural chapter in achieving Chinese sports modernization and building a leading sporting nation by following the Chinese path and five branches of cultural logic. These branches of cultural logic include:based on the starting logic of getting rid of the label of the ’sick man’ and fulfilling the mission of enhancing the physical fitness of the people,Chinese sports would dedicate to the modernization that shakes off the label of ’sick man of East Asia’;based on the concept of doing everything for the people while relying on the people in everything they do,and following a people-centered approach to developing major policies and building public sports facilities,Chinese sports would shape the sports modernization that features joint building and sharing;based on the new system for mobilizing resources nationwide which had been constructed through the Chinese history and the great practice of Chinese socialist modernization,Chinese sports would work on the modernization that creates competitive sport wonders in achieving rapid catch-up development and providing ’Chinese creation’;based on China’s history and national conditions,as well as the Chinese path that features the combination of popularization with improvement,the integration of friendship with competition and a new form of sports culture,Chinese sports would see parallel development in the process of modernization;based on the nationality of the culture and the responsibility of fighting for national glory,Chinese sports would achieve modernization of China’s own narrative.
