北京正阳门东车站于1906年建成启用,是当时全国最大的火车站和铁路交通枢纽,是中国铁路发展史上的一座里程碑.作为工业建筑遗产,有百余年历史的正阳门东车站是工业文明的遗存,也是城市文化遗产的重要组成部分,承载着城市发展的历史记忆.通过对正阳门东车站的历史沿革、建筑概况和特征的分析,阐释其历史地位和现实价值,并对这座铁路建筑遗产的改造利用以及传承使命提出建议.

Beijing Zhengyangmen East Railway Station was completed and opened in 1906,which was the largest railway station and railway transportation hub in China at that time.Its completion was a milestone in the history of China’s railway development.As an industrial architectural heritage,Zhengyangmen East Railway Station,which has a history of more than 100 years,is a relic of industrial civilization and an important part of the city’s cultural heritage,bearing the historical memory of urban development.Through the analysis of the historical evolution,architectural overview and characteristics of Zhengyangmen East Railway Station,this paper explains its historical status and realistic value,and puts forward suggestions on the transformation,utilization and mission of inheritance of the railway architectural heritage.
