Research on the Design of the Palace Museum’s Digital Cultural Creation App Based on the Situational Story Method

本文立足于情景故事法旨在研究故宫数字文创App设计以提升用户情感体验。通过市场调研法、案例分析法和文献研究法对故宫数字文创的App发展现状进行研究,分析出其现存问题。基于情景故事法理念,以用户情感为导向,提出以设定情境、述说故事、编写剧本、设计产品为核心的数字文创App系统化设计方法与步骤流程,并针对现有问题从视觉、体验、服务层面出发构建出文化信息易读性、操作流程的易用性、功能服务的个性化的设计原则。最后通过案例“游春故宫”数字文创App开发进行设计实践,为推动故宫数字文创发展提供一个可行性方案,同时也为其他数字文创App提供新的研究视角。

Predicated on the situational story method,this paper seeks to examine the design of the Palace Museum’s digital cultural creation APP in a bid to enhance users’emotional responses.The development status of the Palace Museum’s digital cultural creation APP was analyzed,and current challenges were explored employing market investigation,case analysis,and literature research approaches.In accordance with the concepts of the situational story method and with the user’s emotions as a guide,the article proposes to set the situation,share stories,compose scripts,and design the product as the core digital cultural creation of the APP’s systematic design techniques and procedures.Meanwhile,in light of the existing struggles,the study sets out from the perspective of vision,experience,and service level for the sake of constructing cultural information legibility,usability of the operation process,and personalized design principles for functional services.Ultimately,the design practice is conducted through the specific instance of“Springtime at the Palace Museum”digital cultural creation APP development,which delivers a feasible scheme for boosting digital cultural creation advancement in the Palace Museum as well as a modern research viewpoint for other digital cultural creation APPs.
