面向个体需要的思想政治教育是对面向人的需要的思想政治教育的承继与发展,是马克思主义人学理论在思想政治教育领域的贯彻。面向个体需要既不等同于迎合个体需要,也不等同于推崇个人主义或利己主义,更不等同于否定人的需要具有普遍性和共通性。面向个体需要的思想政治教育具有深厚的价值意义,蕴含了从面向人的需要到面向个体需要的理念变革,从个体及其需要精准切入的方法突破以及以满足和发展个体需要为价值归宿的目标追求。供需契合、因材施教是面向个体需要的思想政治教、育的精神内核,在实践过程中必须遵循以下要求。一要以尊重为前提,激发个体需要表达欲;二要以契合为关键,强化个体需要内生力;三要以引导为核心,提升个体需要层次性。
