Breeding and Application of Restorer Line Mianhui 6139 with Good Grain Quality and High Combining Ability in Rice

绵恢6139是四川省绵阳市农业科学研究院以抗稻瘟病材料成恢21为母本、优质恢复系绵恢9939为父本杂交选育而成的籼型恢复系,具有株叶形态好、米质优、配合力高、稻瘟病抗性强等特点。利用绵恢6139已组配了川优6139、广8优6139、泰丰优6139等6个优质高产杂交水稻组合通过四川省品种审定。

Mianhui 6139,derived from the cross between Chenghui 21(a blast-resistant rice cultivar)as the female and Mianhui 9939(a restorer line with good grain quality),is an elite indica restorer line in rice developed by Mianyang Agricultural Research Institute of Sichuan Province.It has the characteristics of ideal plant type,good grain quality,high combining ability and strong blast resistance.Six high-quality and high-yielding hybrid combinations derived from Mianhui 9939,such as Chuanyou 6139,Guang 8 You 6139 and Taifengyou 6139,have been registered and released for commercial production by Sichuan Provincial Crop Variety Appraisal Committee.
