This article sees education on the perspective of the motherland as a systematic project to guide and shape social psychology.The main components of the instruction of the motherland view in ethnic minority areas include to strengthen national identity,safeguard national unity and security,and promote national development and rejuvenation.This writing proposes that the education of motherland view in ethnic minority areas has its contemporary values,including:1)Motherland perspective education could help to strengthen a sense of belonging to the Chinese national community in ethnic minority areas,deepen a sense of dependence of ethnic minority areas on the Chinese national community,and enhance the emotional commitment of ethnic areas to the Chinese national community.2)The motherland view education in ethnic minority areas could strengthen the ideological foundation needed for the construction of a high-quality economy,the promotion of a pluralistic interaction of governance subjects,and the establishment of a stable and harmonious social environment required for modernization in ethnic minority areas.3)The education of view of the motherland could strengthen the practical platform for popularizing Marxism in ethnic minority areas,while it could also provide a practical basis for constructing the discourse system of socialism with Chinese characteristics.This paper also seeks to summarize the resource advantages of promoting education of the view of the motherland in ethnic minority areas as follows:A)Historical resources have laid the core foundation for the education of the motherland view in ethnic minority areas.The history of ethnic minority areas has provided the most powerful evidence of their belonging to the Chinese national community,and a most profound inspiration for a greater confidence in the development of ethnic minority areas.B)Religious resources have provided the important ways to pass on knowledge for the education of the motherland view in ethnic minority areas due to their social function.The upward and good value function of religions could promote the construction of a socialist spiritual civilization.C)The achievements in the construction of ethnic minority areas have provided practical support for the motherland view education in ethnic minority areas.The comprehensive development achievements of ethnic minority areas are the most intuitive and realistic educational resources to carry out the education of view of the motherland.These achievements cover the aspects of the whole of the economy and quality of life of ethnic minority areas,people’s living standards and infrastructure,and other broad development achievements.This research puts forward the following practical plans for strengthening a sense of community for the Chinese nation through the education of the motherland views:i)We should always adhere to the goal of realizing the Chinese Dream of great rejuvenation,constantly focus on the main principle of cohesion of national identity and the promotion of national unity,and continually emphasize the doctrines of patriotism,identification with the Party,and the socialism;ii)we should additionally promote the integration and utilization of educational resources of the motherland view education,and create a social ecology that strengthens the sense of community for the Chinese nation;iii)we ought to give full play to the role of all people in motherland-view education and cultivate a combined effort of the sense of community for the Chinese nation;iv)we should promote patriotism and a desire to create abundance and prosperity for the country,and enhance the practical effectiveness of strengthening a sense of community for the Chinese nation.
