China's Cultural and Natural Heritage under Climate Change

2021年8月9日,政府间气候变化专门委员会(IPCC)正式发布第六次评估第一工作组报告指出全球及主要区域当前气候变化情况,定量分析归因,预测未来气候变化趋势,以及给人类社会、经济和文化等方面带来的深刻影响。本文聚焦气候变化背景下的中国文化与自然遗产,从IPCC第六次评估报告着手,指出全球及中国的气候变化概况,结合实际案例分析气候变化对于中国遗产地的直接和间接威胁。并概括中国在“双碳”目标下,积极参与全球气候治理举措,归纳国家层面在文化与自然遗产领域应对气候变化的政策与措施。

On August 9,2021,the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change(IPCC)officially released the report of Working Group I of the Sixth Assessment,which pointed out the current climate change situation in the world and major regions,quantitatively analyzed the attribution of causes,and projected future trends of climate change and its profound impacts on human society,economy and culture.This paper focuses on Chinese cultural and natural heritage in the context of climate change,starting from the IPCC's Sixth Assessment Report,pointing out the global and Chinese climate change profiles,and analyzing the direct and indirect threats of climate change to Chinese heritage sites with actual cases.It also outlines China's active participation in global climate governance under‘the carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals’,and summarizes the policies and measures at the national level to address climate change in the field of cultural and natural heritage.
