摘要
数字化技术对制造企业服务化转型的驱动作用日益凸显,特别是对资源约束显著、动态能力不足现状下的制造企业而言,有效运用数字化技术是服务化转型绩效提升的重要途径。技术动荡情境下,如何通过数字化技术影响资源和能力进而赋能服务化转型是制造企业服务化转型绩效稳定提升亟需解决的关键问题。研究以资源拼凑理论和动态能力理论为切入点,构建有调节的链式中介模型对数字化技术分别赋能服务化转型财务与非财务绩效的具体作用路径进行分析。研究结果表明:制造企业对数字化技术的应用显著促进资源拼凑行动实施和动态能力提高,进而驱动制造企业服务化转型财务绩效与非财务绩效差异化提升,技术动荡性对上述过程起到了双刃剑效应。基于假设验证与分析结果,进一步提出适合我国制造企业实现高质量服务化转型的策略和降低服务悖论风险的启示。
The driving role of digitization technology in the servitization transformation of manufacturing firms has become increasingly prominent,especially for manufacturing firms that have significant resource constraints and insufficient dynamic capabilities.Effective application of digitization technology is an important approach to improve servitization transformation performance.However,when facing the dilemma of resource constraints and weak dynamic capabilities,manufacturing firms lack theoretical guidance and practical experience in using digitization technology to empower servitization transformation performance.The internal mechanism of how digitization technology influences servitization transformation performance of manufacturing firms by promoting resource patchwork and improving dynamic capability is deeply analyzed,which not only helps to make up for the lack of existing research on the specific implementation strategies of digital servitization,but also supports to strengthen existing research on the digital intelligence transformation firms empower digital servitization business model.The high-speed turbulent technology environment is a practical problem that cannot be ignored when this research explores servitization transformation performance of manufacturing firms empowered by digitization technology.Existing research is unclear about the specific role of technological turbulence in the entire enabling process.In the turbulent environment of technology,how to use digitization technology to influence resources and capabilities to empower servitization transformation is a key issue to be solved urgently for the stable improvement of servitization transformation performance of manufacturing firms.This research applies resource patchwork theory and dynamic capability theory to construct a"resource-capability"framework to study the impact of digitization technology on servitization transformation performance of manufacturing firms.Based on this,the research constructs a regulated chain intermediary model in order to analyze the specific action paths of digitization technology in empowering servitization transformation of financial and non-financial performance.Then,the research further explores the moderating effect of technological turbulence on the dual-channel mediation model,and analyzes the significant impact of turbulent technological environment on the process of digitization technology empowering servitization transformation performance through resource patchwork and dynamic capability.The research results show that:(1)The application of digitization technology by manufacturing firms promotes significantly the implementation of resource patchwork and the improvement of dynamic capability,which in turn drives the manufacturing firms to improve servitization transformation of financial and non-financial performance differently;(2)There is a chain promoting effect between resource patchwork and dynamic capability;(3)The technological turbulence plays a double-edged sword effect in the above process.Based on the results of hypothesis verification and analysis,the research further proposes strategies suitable for China’s manufacturing firms to achieve high-quality servitization transformation and enlightenments on reducing the risk of service paradox.First of all,manufacturing firms need to make full use of the promotion effect of digitization technology on the servitization transformation performance and realize the coupling innovation of products and services by applying a series of digitization technologies.Secondly,manufacturing firms need to use resource management methods such as resource patchwork and resource arrangement to accelerate the process of servitization transformation,and overcome the risks of servitization transformation by improving dynamic capability.Finally,manufacturing firms should pay attention to the double-edged sword effect of technological turbulence,and adopt the way of fostering the strong points and avoiding the weak points to deal with the turbulent technological environment.
