摘要
SIX2是SIX转录因子家族的成员,对多种组织的发育具有重要的作用.近年来的研究发现,SIX2在肾脏早期发育中调节细胞的增殖和凋亡,保持后肾间充质祖细胞处于未分化状态,从而实现肾脏细胞的自我更新.同时,SIX2在心脏、腭、颅面骨等组织器官发育中也发挥着调节性作用.此外,在肿瘤及癌症研究方面,SIX2被证明在参与肿瘤的形成过程、调控肿瘤细胞干性方面发挥作用.总结了SIX2基因在组织器官发育及相关疾病、癌细胞干性、神经系统发育等方面的最新研究进展,为该基因和家族的深入研究提供了新的思路.
SIX2 is a member of the SIX transcription factor family and has important effects for the development of a variety of tissues.Recent studies have found that SIX2 regulates cell proliferation and apoptosis in early kidney development,keeping metanephric mesenchymal progenitor cells in an undifferentiated state,thereby achieving self-renewal of kidney cells.At the same time,SIX2 also plays a regulatory role in the development of other tissues and organs such as the heart,palateand craniofacial bones.In addition,SIX2 has also been shown to play a role in the process of tumor formation and regulation of tumor cell stemness in cancer and cancer research.The latest research progress of SIX2 gene in tissue and organ development and related diseases,cancer cell stemness,and nervous system development is summarized,which provides a new idea for the in-depth study of this gene and family.
