在党的十八大报告中,习近平总书记从我国的发展现状及中国特色社会主义建设的实践需求出发,将“新时代高校党建工作”作为党总体建设的重要战略布局。高校作为党建工作的重要阵地,在强化师德师风教育,为新时期社会主义建设培养政治立场坚定、政治素养较高、综合素质过硬的青年人才等方面发挥着重要作用,对高校完成立德树人根本任务具有重要的意义。当下,社会主要矛盾随着中国进入新时代而发生变化,高校党建工作面临的情况更为复杂,这就要求我们必须尽快适应时代发展,有效解决目前存在的问题,使高校各级党组织焕发蓬勃的生命力,增强凝聚力,提高竞争力,实现高校更快更好的发展。

In the report of the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, General Secretary Xi Jinping proceeded from the current situation of China’s development and the practical needs of the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and regarded "Party building work in colleges and universities in the new era" as an important strategic layout for the overall construction of the party. As an important position of the Party building work, colleges and universities play an important role in strengthening the education of teachers’ ethics and style, cultivating young talents with firm political position, high political literacy and excellent comprehensive quality for the socialist construction in the new period, and are of great significance to complete the fundamental task of establishing morality and cultivating people. At present, the major social contradictions have changed with China’s entry into a new era, and the situation faced by the Party building work in colleges and universities is more complex, which requires us to adapt to the development of the times as soon as possible, effectively solve the existing problems,make the Party organizations at all levels in colleges and universities glow with vitality, enhance cohesion, improve competitiveness, and achieve faster and better development of colleges and universities.
