Towards the Construction of Open Library Platform Communities——Overview of“New Age,New Forces:2022 WOLFcon Asia-Pacific and the Annual Meeting of Chinese FOLIO Community”

近年国内外在开源图书馆平台和生态社区构建方面取得显著进展。云瀚是我国首个基于开放理念和开放社区运行的下一代图书馆服务平台,它通过继承FOLIO的愿景和技术,探索符合我国需求的本土化智慧图书馆平台解决方案。文章通过对“新时代,新势力--2022世界开放图书馆联盟亚太会议暨中国云瀚社区年会”报告、案例与讨论内容进行归纳和综述,阐述图书馆开放和互联的背景,介绍FOLIO与云瀚的实践案例、实施进展、应用现状,归纳云瀚社区面临的挑战,对未来发展提出展望。

In recent years,significant progress has been made in the construction of both open library platforms and library technology ecological communities.Yunhan is the first next-generation LSP(library service platform)based on open concept and open community in China.By inheriting FOLIO’s vision of“the future of libraries is open”as well as its advanced technologies,Yunhan explores localized smart library platform solutions that could meet the practical needs of Chinese libraries.Based on the proceedings of“New Age,New Forces:2022 WOLFcon Asia-Pacific and the Annual Meeting of Chinese FOLIO Community”,this paper discusses the trend of library’s open concept and interconnection idea,introduces the practical cases,implementation procedures and application progresses of both FOLIO and Yunhan,summarizes the challenges of Yunhan community,and puts forward some prospects for the future development of open library platforms and library technology ecological communities.
