摘要
To date, due to increasing use of high-resolution computed tomography(CT)scans, more and more cases of minute pulmonary meningothelial-like nodules(MPMNs)were reported[1,2].Clinicopathological and histological characteristics of this lesion have also been well described. The lesion appears as multiple nodules on CT image, and mainly observed in the patients, especially female, with malignant pulmonary tumors, such as adenocarcinoma of the lung[2].Histologically,MPMNs are comprised of arachnoid-like cells similar meningothelial cell in meningioma in the H&E slice.Recently, large pulmonary meningothelial-like nodule was reported[3].Here we report a case of MPMNs,which presented diffusely as multiple nodules in the lung field and some admixed with adenocarcinoma.Three year follow-up examinations by low-dose helical computed tomography scan after surgical partial resection of the cancer demonstrate that the MPMN lesions in the rest lung are not eliminated after targeted therapy of the lung cancer.
