With the loss of the glory of the Great Navigation era,Portugal has changed from a great colonial empire into a tiny place in the corner of Europe.This sudden and huge change hits like a heavy punch in every Portuguese heart,and“Saudosismo”gradually becomes the collective consciousness of the Iberian nation.This article will analyze“Portuguese Saudosismo”from the aspects of social evolution,psychological change,narrative discourse and related works,and explore the cuttural view,value identity and narrative discourse of the Iberian nation contained in it.
