提升广东省家电产业国际竞争力研究——基于高质量发展背景下

Research on the Exaltation of the Global Competitiveness of the Household Electric Appliance Industry in Guangdong Province in the Context of High-quality Development

家电产业被广东省制造业高质量发展“十四五”规划列为十大战略性支柱产业之一。在这种背景下,研究如何提升家电产业国际竞争力,以摆脱其在全球价值链低端生产环节的地位意义重大。本文利用技术复杂度指数测算了2011年至2020年包括广东省在内的十个家电出口国家和地区的国际竞争力并进行了对比分析,研究发现:以传统贸易数据测算的国际竞争力排名靠前,然而考虑技术含量后发现实际的国际竞争力较落后。在此基础上,依据波特“钻石模型”构建了家电产业国际竞争力的评价指标体系,并运用因子分析法进行了实证分析。研究结果表明,提升技术创新能力和企业管理能力是提升家电产业国际竞争力的核心路径,也顺应了高质量发展的核心要义,并提出了相应的对策建议。

Based on the context of high-quality development,the household electric appliance industry has been listed as one of the ten strategic pillar industries in the 14th Five-Year Plan of Guangdong Province.It is of great significance to study on how to enhance the household electric appliance industry’s competitiveness from a global perspective,with the target to get rid of its low-end position of the global value chain.This paper aims to articulate this issue by utilizing the Technological Sophistication Index to measure the global competitiveness of ten major household electric appliance exporters,including Guangdong Province,from 2011 to 2020.We then conduct a comparative analysis and amazingly find that the global competitiveness measured by traditional method ranks high while rendering the opposit e state after considering the Technological Contents.To illuminate this status quo,we institute an overall appraisal index system based on the Michael Porter diamond Model and carry out an empirical research by playing factor analysis.The research results demonstrates that improving the capability of technological innovation and enterprise management bestly contributes to the global competitiveness of the household electric appliance industry,which also complys with the core essence of high-quality development.Corresponding countermeasures are then put forward.
