Exploration of Teaching Reform of Introduction to Materials Science in the New Era

材料学概论是材料学相关专业一门重要的课程,对学生专业视野的开阔和未来职业生涯的规划具有重要作用。该课程具有内容多、学时少、学生重视度低等特点,因而高质量完成教学任务的难度较大。此外,国际形势已经发生剧变的时代背景对材料学概论的教学工作又提出了新的要求和挑战。为培养出满足国家对材料学领域科技发展需求的人才,从加强课程思政教育、优化教学内容和丰富教学模式三方面探讨新时代背景下该课程的教学改革。

Introduction to Materials Science is an important course for materials related majors,which plays an important role in broadening students’professional vision and planning their future career.This course has many characteristics,such as more content,less class hours,and low attention of students,so it is difficult to complete the teaching task with high quality.In addition,the background of the times when the international situation has undergone drastic changes has put forward new requirements and challenges for the teaching of Introduction to Materials Science.In order to cultivate talents who can meet the national demand for scientific and technological development in the field of materials science,this paper discusses the teaching reform of this course in the new era from three aspects:strengthening ideological and political education,optimizing teaching content and enriching teaching mode.
