郡县治,天下安。县是中国历史上最稳定的行政区划单元,是城镇体系的重要组成部分。山东有52个县、26个县级市,数量占到全省县级行政区划的57%,人口数超过全省的一半,经济总量占全省的四成。各县(市)之间,区位不同、赋各异,但致力于县域经济高质量发展的目标却毫无二致。自去年《关于推进以县城为重要载体的城镇化建设的意见》出台以来,山东各地积极推进,用实际行动助力县域经济发展。

The county is themost stable administrative division unit in the history of China,and an important part of the urban system.Shandong has 52 counties and 26 county-level cities,their number accounting for 57% of the province's county-level administrative divisions;the population of these is more than half of Shandong's total population;their economic aggregate accounts for 40% of that of the province.
