莎士比亚“亨利”剧中的身体荣誉观

The Body Honor in Shakespeare's“Henry”Series

身体荣誉观从属于道德观,莎士比亚擅长用身体表达道德诉求。布尔迪厄的社会文化批评为我们提供了解读文学的新角度。文章用布尔迪厄理论来分析“亨利”剧中三个关联人物:霍茨波、福斯塔夫和亨利五世,他们对身体持有的荣誉观既相似又相异,却很有代表性:霍茨波盲目追求身体荣誉;福斯塔夫践踏身体荣誉;亨利五世驾驭身体荣誉。从中可以探讨莎士比亚及其时代的身体荣誉观。

The concept of body honor is subordinate to the concept of morality,and Shakespeare is good at expressing moral appeals with bodies.Bourdieu's sociocultural criticism provides us with a new perspective to interpret literature.This paper uses Bourdieu's theory to analyse three related characters in the“Henry”series:Hotspur,Falstaff and Henry V.They have similar and different views on the body honour,but they are very representative:Hotspur blindly pursues body honour;Falstaff tramples on body honour,while Henry V manipulates body honour,from which we can discuss the view of body honor of Shakespeare and his time.
