全面国际化背景下高校国际化组织的重构——以美国三所研究型大学为例

The Reconstruction of the International Organization of Universities in the Context of Comprehensive Internationalization:The Case of Three American Research Universities

在全面国际化的背景下,美国研究型大学将国际化维度深入整合进高校的人才培养、科学研究和社会服务等功能中,大力推进高校的全面国际化发展。为了深入推进大学的全面国际化发展,美国高校对国际化组织机构进行了重构。通过比较分析美国三所顶尖研究型大学的国际化组织机构改革,有助于探讨和揭示在推进“全面国际化”发展过程中美国研究型大学的国际化组织机构设置和治理模式的典型及特征。美国研究型大学注重国际化事务治理的“协同治理、统筹推进、多元共治、凸显服务”的经验,对于我国如何有效地促进大学国际化事务的有效治理、如何实现大学的全面国际化发展具有启发。

In the context of comprehensive internationalization, American research universities have deeply integrated the international dimension into the functions of talent training, scientific research and social service of the universities and vigorously promoted the comprehensive international development of the universities. In order to further promote the comprehensive international development of universities, American universities have reconstructed the international organizational structures, and through comparative analysis of the international organizational reform of the three top research universities in the United States, we have explored the international organizational settings and governance models of American research universities in the process of promoting the comprehensive internationalization development. The experience of American research universities in focusing on the governance of international affairs, such as “collaborative governance, coordinative promotion, pluralistic co-governance, and highlight service”, has implications for how to effectively promote the effective governance of international university affairs in China and how to achieve the comprehensive international development of the universities.
