SKY SCRAPING Shanghai Tower hits peak The last major beam was placed atop the Shanghai Tower early last month,meaning that the tower is finally standing at its full height of 632 meters,or 137 floors.Construction will still continue,as the tower is not set to open to the public until late next year. but we can now proudly flaunt the world's second-tallest building in our veiy own Pudong.The excitement may be short lived,however;as Shenzhen's 660 meter Ping'an International Finance Center is scheduled to pass the Shanghai ToweFs height in 2016.
