The place Occupying a light-flooded space on the corner of Beijing Xi Lu and Shaanxi Lu,Daliah is a Viennese cafe and restaurant opened by Austrian artist Daliah Spiegel and architect Daniel Prost.An architect’s touch is clear throughout this well-thought-out,truly beautiful space.Floor to ceiling windows open up to the street for an al fresco feel,polished concrete floors and a marble counter lend a cool vibe to the space and a stunning spiral staircase unites the top floor.Oh,and there are swings and rocking chairs at some of the tables instead of regular chairs.AND THERE’S A SLIDE.We tried it out,and can tell you it’s much faster than we expected.
