摘要
焦虑是外语学习过程中一个重要的情感影响因素。采用Horwitz等编写的外语学习焦虑量表(FLCAS),从交际焦虑、考试焦虑、负面评价焦虑以及课堂其他焦虑维度探究大学生英语学习焦虑水平在年级间的差异。结果表明,大学生总体英语学习焦虑水平较高,高年级学生的焦虑水平显著低于低年级学生,尤其体现在负面评价焦虑以及课堂其他焦虑维度上。因此,在日常教学过程中,教师要有针对性地采取相应措施减轻学生英语学习焦虑程度,提升教学效果。
Anxiety is an important affective factor in the process of foreign language learning.By using the Foreign Language Learning Anxiety Scale(FLCAS)developed by Horwitz,the differences in the levels of English language learning anxiety among university students were investigated in terms of communicative anxiety,test anxiety,negative evaluation anxiety,and other anxiety in the classroom.The results show that the overall level of English learning anxiety among university students is high,and that the anxiety levels of senior students is significantly lower than those of junior students,especially in the negative evaluation anxiety and other anxiety in the classroom.The findings of the study will help instruct teachers to take targeted measures to reduce students anxiety in English learning and improve teaching effectiveness.
