“第三空间”视域下辜鸿铭中华文化的海外传播研究

Gu Hongming’s Chinese Cultural Inheritance Spreading Abroad from the Third space Theory

辜鸿铭先生学贯中西、阅历丰富,他恪守现代传播学中职业“把关人”的必备的素养资质,采用归化翻译和写作策略,把中国文化带到“第三空间”,让中西两种文化就彼此的差异性进行平等的协商、对话,实现了中国文化和西方文化的交融。运用霍米·巴巴“第三空间”等现代传播学理论,探讨辜鸿铭“归化”式传播中国传统文化的策略,是中国文化“走出去”、讲好中国故事、传播中国中华文化的宝贵借鉴。

Mr.Gu Hongming, living in Europe for decades of years, had been a well-experienced person with both western and traditional Chinese culture, which had made him accord with the essential and qualified endownments of being a professional checker of modern communication. Gu Hongming adopted the strategy of naturalization and writing only to make the China’s culture and the western culture equally associate communicate with each other because of the differences between them, realizing the blend of the China’s culture and the western culture from the perspective the Third Space Theory by Hmoi K Bhababha, the paper seeks to explore the strategies to spread Chinese traditional culture by means of his translating method of Gu Hongming’s naturalization and his unique writing skill, aiming at offering experience for reference for the spreading of Chinese Culture abroad, relating Chinese stories, transmission of the Chinese culture implied in the ancient Chinese classics.
