China far outpaces any other country when it comes to the devel叩ment of private museums.The most recent Art Market Report estimates that as of 2019,some 1,500 of the total 5,000 museums across the Middle Kingdom fall under this category,and thatdoesnt even factor in galleries and otherart spaces.The expansive nature ofthe creative landscape poses challenges for all institutions involved,but it also creates opportunities within the network to foster partnerships and increase the exposure of their respective catalogues.
