数字普惠金融促进地方经济高质量发展实证研究——以广东省为例

An Empirical Study on Digital Inclusive Finance Promoting the High Quality Development of Local Economy——Taking Guangdong Province as an Example

通过搜集2010-2020年广东省21个地级市的多项经济发展指标,构建广东省经济高质量发展指数,以此检验北大数字普惠金融指数对其的影响。研究发现:(1)数字普惠金融能显著促进经济高质量发展,为推动构建广东省现代经济体系发挥着重要作用;(2)因地域、城市规模以及城市等级的不同,数字普惠金融的促进作用会表现出差异性,对粤港澳大湾区城市、更大规模城市和一二线城市表现得更明显。以上结论对各地依据自身发展特点,充分利用数字普惠金融突破时空限制,助推经济产业结构转型升级具有一定参考价值。

By collecting a number of economic development indicators of 21 prefecture level cities in Guangdong Province from 2010 to 2020,this paper constructs a high-quality economic development index of Guangdong Province to test the effect of the digital inclusive financial index of Peking University on it.The research finds that:(1)Digital inclusive finance can significantly promote high-quality economic development and plays a vital role in promoting the construction of a modern economic system in Guangdong Province.(2)Due to different regions,city sizes and city levels,the promotion of digital inclusive finance will show differences,which can improve the economic development benefits of Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area cities,larger cities and first and second tier cities to a greater extent.The above conclusions have a certain reference value for regions to make full use of the advantages of digital inclusive finance to break through the limitation of time and space according to their own development characteristics,so as to boost the transformation and upgrading of economic and industrial structure.
