Monitoring results of hand hygiene quality of kindergarten staff in an urban area of Beijing

目的 了解北京某城区幼儿园人员手卫生现状,为加强托幼机构人员手卫生管理提供依据。方法 采取分层整群随机抽样和现场采样检测的方式,对北京东城区托幼机构人员手卫生质量进行监测与分析。结果 共采集北京东城区部分托幼机构人员卫生手样本239件,手卫生质量合格率为82.43%。多因素分析显示,人员类别、六步洗手法要求、洗手揉搓时间和洗手冲洗时间构成影响托幼机构人员手卫生的独立因素。结论 该区托幼机构人员手卫生质量有待提高,存在很多影响托幼机构人员卫生行为的因素,应加强管理给予整改。

Objective To investigate the hand hygiene status of kindergarten staff in an urban area of Beijing, and to provide evidence for strengthening the hand hygiene management of kindergartens.Methods The hand hygiene quality of kindergarten staff in Dongcheng District of Beijing was monitored and analyzed by stratified cluster random sampling and on-site sampling and detection.Results A total of 239 hand hygiene samples were collected from kindergarten staff in Dongcheng District of Beijing, and the qualified rate of hand hygiene quality was 82.43%.Multivariate analysis showed that the type of personnel, requirement for six-step washing technique, hand rubbing time and hand washing time were independent factors affecting the hand hygiene of kindergarten staff.Conclusion The quality of hand hygiene of kindergarten staff in this area needs to be improved, and there are many factors that affect the hygienic behavior of kindergarten staff, so management should be strengthened and rectified.
